Post subject:  PLCBUS technical document

Hi all,

I'm new to PLC-BUS and looking for some technical info to start on PLC-BUS applications via RS232 interface (1141). I have done a bit of research and realized that PLC-Bus is quite similar to UPB, but somehow simpler in command set. I've recently learned about this site which has very good information in the Download page. However, the content for the file PLCBUS technical document does not match with its title. The actual pdf doc is about crystal switches. Can anyone help me with more technical details on PLC-BUS (protocol, hardware, etc.)?

Should I look into PLC-BUS 201071 datasheet to find these technical info? Anyone having any idea on how to have more accurate info before buying and testing the hardware?

Thanks in advance.

Hi monamomeni,

the content for the file PLCBUS technical document is not only about crystal switches.
It describes how to install PLC-BUS modules, but is not a dokument how PLC-BUS works.

You have right, the basic functions of PLC-BUs are like UPB.
I assert that PLC-BUS is based on UPB -> UPB work below PLC-BUS as ethernet works below of IP
