homeVisu only check if interface is connected and powered on.
This is the blink command send to 00 00.
This command will not reach any module, only receive the bus echo.

Does this mean you can't have any other module with the address A1? Is this address reserved for the 1141?

OK, on second thought, I see you are sending to usercode 0x0 and home/unit 0x0, so it will be transmitted on the bus and A1 does not react because of the usercode 0x0. Right?

hey tsts,

that's right.
It is a not used command, so no module received it.
Only the 1141 can receive it as bus echo!

And your other question!
There are no different between USB and RS232 interface.
Both have the same hardware for PLC-BUS communication.
The USB version is based on the RS232 version and has just one chip more inside - USB-to-RS232-controller
